UGHA started its Hall Of Fame in 1991 to pay tribute to our pioneer groups who have been sorely neglected and overlooked by other music organizations. The Hall Of Fame Induction Ceremony developed into the organization's grandest affair.

As many of our pioneer vocalists have passed away, their recognition is more important than ever. The UGHA Hall of Fame is the premier venue in letting the world know that we are preserving a pure American art form, Rhythm and Blues.

The year 2000 marked the 10th and final Hall of Fame. A "Best of Hall of Fame" concert series began in 2001 which brought back some of the outstanding performers from prior shows.
